Spurs' Tim Duncan getting divorce after 12 years of marriage
San Antonio All-Star forward Tim Duncan is getting divorced from his wife, Amy, the Spurs confirmed. The two have been married since 2001 and have two children.
Amy Duncan, the power forward’s wife since 2001, apparently filed for a divorce in March, according to documents obtained by the San Antonio Express-News.
According to the paper, the Spurs star recently asked the court to delay the proceedings given that San Antonio is still in the playoffs.
Duncan didn’t address reporters after Saturday’s shootaround, and the Spurs’ spokesman said he wouldn’t be discussing personal matters.
The Spurs head into Saturday night’s matchup against the Grizzlies with a 2-0 series lead.
