Stephen Curry sprains ankle again, X-rays negative
Stephen Curry suffers ankle sprain, X-Rays negative.
It's going to be like this for awhile. Every time Warriors guard Stephen Curry lands on an ankle funny, there's going to be concern over whether it's going to be serious. He tweaked it again Saturday night vs. the Wizards, but Curry insists it's no big deal:
“I’m fine. Don’t worry about my ankle, I’ll get through it like I usually do,” he said, via CSN Bay Area. “I just have to get my treatment and get ready for Monday.”
Curry did say how much it freaks him out, though:
Steph Curry slapped the floor in pain/frustration after the sprain. "I hadn’t done it in a while. It always brings back bad memories."— Rusty Simmons (@Rusty_SFChron) March 24, 2013
It's going to be like that for awhile, but Curry keeps coming back. As long as (knock on wood) no structural damage occurs, we're going to get a full season of Curry, and it's been so worth it. Curry had 35 points on 13-of-18 shooting Saturday night. The Warriors play the Lakers on Monday.
