Timberwolves' Kevin Martin out indefinitely with broken thumb
The Timberwolves will be without Kevin Martin for a bit as the guard is sidelined with a broken thumb.
The official timetable has Martin out indefinitely after an X-ray revealed a non-displaced fracture of the distal phalanx in his left thumb. He suffered the injury Friday in the final minutes against the Pelicans.
Martin is averaging 19.0 points, 3.3 rebounds and 2.0 assists in 32.3 minutes this season.
