Udonis Haslem to start Game 2 for Heat

Miami Heat big man Udonis Haslem will be back in the starting lineup on Tuesday in Game 2 against the Indiana Pacers, according to Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel. He will replace Shane Battier, who started Game 1.

There was much speculation heading into the Eastern Conference finals that Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra would go with Haslem to combat the Pacers' size. He opted instead to try to play to Miami's normal strengths, staying small and spacing the floor. Spoelstra abandoned that plan after the first half and started Haslem in the third quarter.

Before the game, Indiana head coach Frank Vogel predicted Haslem would play more, via Winderman.
