VIDEO: Ama're Stoudemire hits end of third quarter 3-pointer vs. Pacers
Amar'e Stoudemire drains the 3 in Game 3
The end of the third quarter in Game 3 between the Knicks and Pacers was about as weird as it can get. First a bucket by J.R. Smith was waved off as a 24-second violation even though it hit rim. Then on the ensuing inbounds, because they coudn't review it, the Pacers got a straight siteline for a baseball pass which wound up having Tyler Hansbrough drawing a foul. And then when Hansbrough missed the second free throw, Amar'e Stoudemire hit a 3 in transition.
This is real life, apparenty.
In case you didn't know, this was Stoudemire's first game back after his second knee debridement kept him out for more than two months of play. He did not look great, but this 3-pointer was huge, since this was the ugliest offensive basketball game since the late 1990's. Welcome back, STAT. Apparently you're a shooting guard now.
