VIDEO: Blake Griffin ejected after getting tangled with Andrew Bogut
Andrew Bogut and Blake Griffin got tangled up in the game between the Golden State Warriors and Los Angeles Clippers. For some reason, Griffin was ejected.
During the fourth quarter of the Christmas day game between the Los Angeles Clippers and the Golden State Warriors, Blake Griffin and Andrew Bogut got tangled up in each other's arms and sleeves while battling for position. After some pushing, twisting, and poor grappling, Griffin was assessed a technical foul (his second of the game) and ejected from the game. Bogut was given a flagrant-1 foul and was allowed to stay in the game. He also earned himself a technical foul during the free throw attempts by Ryan Hollins.
So why was Griffin given a technical foul? What exactly did he do during this kerfuffle that warranted the ejection from the game? That's not entirely clear, but it took away someone that had 20 points, 14 rebounds, and five assists during 33 minutes of action.
