VIDEO: Chris Paul drops 40 points in a preseason game for Clippers
Los Angeles Clippers point god Chris Paul played 42 minutes in a preseason game against the Denver Nuggets and had 40 points and 11 assists in those minutes.
Los Angeles Clippers point guard Chris Paul is someone we often want taking over games in order to show off more of his incredible skills on the court. He's only had five 40-point games in his career and none of them have come with the Clippers. However, he did drop 40 points to go with 11 assists and seven rebounds in a preseason game against the Denver Nuggets Saturday night.
Paul played 42 minutes in the overtime victory in Las Vegas, which seems like a lot for a preseason game. However, he put on a show that left the crowd amped up and ready to go win big in Pai Gow. The move he put on Andre Miller to tie the game up in regulation was just filthy.
