Video: Dwight Howard scores his first points as Laker off Gasol alley-oop

Not a bad way to start your Laker career. Howard actually had his first positive play on a drive and kick to Kobe Bryant who hit a three for Howard's first assist in the yellow and gold. But this, of course, got the preseason crowd a bit more excited. 

This is an underrated part of Howard's addition. Pau Gasol has long been a master of the lob to the Lakers' other big, Andrew Bynum, and now he has a better option to throw it to. You're going to see this a lot. 

Lakers lead 47-42 in the second in a game that of course doesn't matter. 

Later on, Kobe hooked up with his new big man for a beautiful alley-oop off a give-and-go.
