VIDEO: Jeremy Lin has changed, bro
Jeremy Lin deals with how fame has changed his life. Or his friends. Or that Rastafarian banana. Or his mom. Or something.
Jeremy Lin put out this video featuring how life has changed for him after becoming an NBA star after his breakout 2012 season.
That... was pretty funny.
Question: Why is Lin sleeping with Rastafarian banana? The Harden and Steve Nash bits were also superb.
"I thought you were born in the Year of the Dragon" may have been my favorite, though.
Under the radar last year, Lin actually wound up having a pretty good season. He wasn't "Linsanity," but he was a definite plus for the Rockets. He was injured and facing a bad matchup set with the Thunder, but there's no reason to think he can't continue to be a quality starter in this league.
Is Lin a star? You have to think so, based mostly off the notoriety that sprung forth this video's concept. Some people may object to that based on his accomplishments, but fame is an undefinable, nearly unsourceable construct, not a merit badge. And Lin is definitely famous.
He's come a long way from Landry Fields' couch. You might even say...
He's changed, bro.
