VIDEO: Johan Petro hits a 3, Markieff Morris hits a shot in 2.8 seconds
In the game between the Atlanta Hawks and Phoenix Suns, Johan Petro hit a 3 with 0.5 seconds left and the Markieff Morris beats the buzzer.
I'm sure you looked at this headline and started wondering if Eye on Basketball was getting in early on April Fools' jokes. Amazingly, unless the NBA is in on early April Fools' jokes, this video is legit.
With 2.8 seconds left, the Hawks inbounded the ball to Johan Petro at the top of the arc and he knocked down a 3-pointer with 0.5 seconds left. Then Jared Dudley of the Suns fired an inbound pass down the court to Markieff Morris, who promptly tossed up a 20-footer bank shot off one leg from the right side of the floor.
I'm as stunned as you are.
