VIDEO: Josh Smith's game-winning 3-pointer caps Pistons' preseason
Detroit Pistons forward Josh Smith hits the game-winning 3-pointer against the Minnesota Timberwolves to cap off a 4-4 preseason for the Pistons.
With the Detroit Pistons down two and 3.6 seconds left on the clock, the Pistons ran an inbound play to get Josh Smith the ball on the perimeter. He came off the screen, received the pass, and measured up a 3-point shot that was decently contested by Minnesota Timberwolves forward Derrick Williams. The shot hit off the iron before bouncing into the basket.
The great bounce on the shot didn't leave any time on the clock and the Pistons won the game by one point. Pistons' color commentator Greg Kesler exclaimed, "Who says it's preseason? Who says it doesn't count?"
The Pistons finished the preseason 4-4, which is now wiped clean for the regular season.
