VIDEO: Kobe Bryant dunks at practice, Friday return still possible
Black Mamba scoops up loose ball for the jam and looks good in practice. Can he play Friday vs. Sacramento?
Kobe Bryant continues his progress in practice towards a Friday return, including this breakaway dunk Tuesday.
Lakers' comments to media in practice were that Kobe looked "really good." The question will be whether he's in a good enough recovery position on Thursday to make his season debut Friday.
It's just a dunk in practice, and he didn't get up high or anything, but he did swoop in and scoop up that loose ball with Mamba-like intensity. The question of his return Friday is still very much in doubt but there's also no question he's close. By all indications, barring a setback, Kobe Bryant will be back on the court for the Lakers within the next two weeks.
