Video: Nets' Gerald Wallace takes a hard fall, won't return to game
Brooklyn Nets forward Gerald Wallace takes a hard fall on the fast break and won't return to the game.
There are times when Gerald Wallace takes a hard spill to the ground, and it looks extremely painful. This is one of those times.
The Brooklyn Nets forward took the pass from Deron Williams on the break and just had to get past Phoenix Suns' wingman P.J. Tucker. Tucker didn't let him pass. Wallace took the hard foul and left the game without shooting free throws. Due to NBA rules, since he couldn't shoot free throws after the foul, he's not allowed to return to the game.
Tucker was issued a flagrant 1 foul on the play, but it was reduced to a regular foul after the officials reviewed it.
