VIDEO: Pistons run and gun for the Drummond and-one
That was an unfortunate rhyme. Anyway, Greg Monroe steal to Will Byum push to Andre Drummond dunk.
The Pistons lost to the Grizzlies in overtime Friday night, but they were very competitive and played at a playoff level against a Western Conference Contender on the road. They look athletic, fast, talented, and able to grind with their talented frontcourt.
And with plays like this, dive from Geg Monroe, a push by Will Bynum, a great dropoff pass and the hammer from superfreak Andre Drummond, they're going to be competitive this year in the first year after their makeover.
That's a whole lot of beasting right there. The Pistons need defensive shoring and for Josh Smith not to build a brick house. But they are passing the ball well and have a ton of physicality. We'll see how they do when Brandon Jennings comes back.
