VIDEO: Rockets and Bucks go crazy fun down the stretch
Fun stuff in Houston between the Rockets and Bucks.
It was a matchup of two high-octane, super-athletic teams that play fast-paced basketball. Milwaukee and Houston met up on Wednesday night for your routine late-Feburary matchup between two teams just inside their respective playoff bubbles. And they turned in an incredibly fun game.
After going down 20-4 to start the game, Milwaukee ground back to pull within three after one quarter. From there, it was a back-and-forth game the whole way through. Just when Houston thought it was in control late with a multi-possession lead, the Bucks crawled their way back.
It was tied with 1:08 to go and that's when things got nuts.
First, Larry Sanders (or "LARRY SANDERS!" as he's known on the Internet) played both ends to maximum effort.
Not bad, right? Chasedown block, sprint to the other end, offensive rebound, put-back for the lead? Pretty good.
Well, maybe not.
Maybe you missed it. Look at the english Harden uses on this play.
So the hero rides in and takes the home team to victory, right?
Well, the Rockets may have the beard, but as the saying goes, Monta Ellis have it all.
Here's exactly how nuts that shot was.
It was a game most won't remember, that won't make many highlight reels. But a fun one that showed much of what makes the league great.
