VIDEO: Russell Westbrook and Nene get ejected after scuffle
In the Oklahoma City Thunder's victory over the Washington Wizards, Russell Westbrook got into a scuffle with Nene that led to both players being ejected.
Nene of the Washington Wizards and Russell Westbrook of the Oklahoma City Thunder received double technicals for a dustup at the 7:50 mark of the third quarter of Sunday's game.
That apparently wasn't enough for them during this game because with 3:18 left in the fourth quarter, they got tangled up again and it resulted in a second double-technical foul call against both players, which caused them to be automatically ejected from the contest. It happened on a play in which Westbrook and Al Harrington got tangled up. Nene wanted Westbrook away from Harrington and gave him a little push to clear the way for Harrington to get up.
This caused Westbrook to push Nene, which almost moved him and then the two players had to be separated. The Thunder ended up winning the game in overtime to move to 5-1 on the year.
