VIDEO: Thunder's Kevin Durant puts the Hawks to sleep with winner
Kevin Durant's scoring binge didn't end Monday night as he dropped 41 points and a winner in the Thunder's win over the Hawks.
It's hard to totally blame the Atlanta Hawks at the end of this game. They tried to send a double team at Kevin Durant. The Oklahoma City Thunder star on a historic run of scoring in the modern era drove away from the double. By the time the double caught up to him, a third defender was a threat to step in and guard Durant. He rose up for the shot before the defenders totally recovered to him.
You know the rest. He finished with 41 points, scored 13 in the final quarter, and the last seven points of the game for the Thunder. Another big effort, another big victory.
