There are a lot of arguments about who the fastest player in the NBA is. The candidates are typically John Wall, Ty Lawson, Russell Westbrook (pre-injury), Derrick Rose (pre-injury), LeBron James, Nate Robinson, and a few other guys. San Antonio Spurs point guard Tony Parker is probably too old to be considered the fastest guy in the NBA anymore, but you definitely can't sleep on him attacking the basket from the backcourt with just a few seconds remaining in a quarter.
With 4.5 seconds left in the first half of Game 5 of the NBA Finals, Tony Parker took the ball about 55 feet from the basket, attacked Norris Cole directly, and got a relatively easy layup to put the Spurs up nine points at the half, 61-52. You might want to put a big man at the rim to protect the basket next time.
