Steve Kerr has continued to reshape his Warriors coaching staff after losing two top assistants the past two years to head coaching jobs, Luke Walton to the Lakers and Alvin Gentry to the Pelicans. The team hired former Cavs and Lakers head coach Mike Brown earlier this summer to replace Walton, and this week decided to add former NBA shooter Willie Green to the crew.
Golden State has hired Willie Green, a 12-year NBA veteran, as an assistant coach on Steve Kerr's staff, league sources tell The Vertical.

For a team with Steve Nash snd Kerr on the coaching staff, it's not like they needed shooting advice, but longtime vetaran Green adds insight to what is considered one of the league's best coaching staffs.
Green, 35, spent 12 years with the Sixers, Clippers and Magic, playing 52 games two years ago for Orlando. Green was a career 34.6 percent 3-point shooter and always regarded as having a keen eye for the game. Who knows, maybe Green could be the next Tyronn Lue.
