Warriors highlights: Klay Thompson scores 40 in the first half as Steph Curry goes wild
Warriors guard goes nuts in the first half vs. the Pacers
We knew going into this season we would see offensive nights unlike anything we had seen before with this Golden State Warriors team. We knew they would have the greatest collection of shooters and scorers we've ever seen assembled on one squad. We knew they would be dominant, and share the ball. And yet they continue to amaze.
Klay Thompson scored 40 points in the first half vs. the Indiana Pacers Monday, shooting 15 for 22 from the field. It was an absolutely meteoric performance.

Part of what makes the Warriors so special is not just that any one of three different players can go off like this, but that they share the ball and the joy in enabling one another to do so.

The Warriors had 25 assists in the first half, which shows how much they share the ball even with Thompson making that kind of personal performance. Thompson said in preseason that with the addition of Kevin Durant, he wouldn't be sacrificing anything. That certainly looks to be the case as the Warriors hit their stride, despite losing to the Rockets at home last Thursday.
