The Warriors kicked off their five-game road trip with a dominant win over the Los Angeles Clippers on Wednesday. But there's no rest for the weary as they have yet another game Thursday the Utah Jazz. The Warriors could rest a few of their key players though so Golden State might not be at full strength in Salt Lake City.

How to watch

When: Thursday, 9 p.m. ET

Who: Utah Jazz

Where: Vivint Smart Home Arena

TV: League Pass

Streaming: League Pass

Line: Warriors (-7.5)

What to watch for

Curry's 3-point shooting: Stephen Curry missed all of eight of his 3-point attempts against the Clippers, which is strange since he makes 3.9 per game. Curry has missed all of 3-point attempts before though, going 0 for 10 against the Lakers on Nov. 4, but he bounced back in epic fashion in Golden State's next game, making an NBA-record 13 3s against the Pelicans.

Could the same thing happen against the Jazz? History can repeat itself, so you never know.

Hayward's scoring streak: Gordon Hayward has been sensational for the Jazz and is averaging a career-high 23.1 points. He has also been on a bit of a scoring binge of late, averaging 26.8 points in Utah's past nine games. Hayward has topped the 30-point mark three times during this stretch and his lowest output has been 22 points. He has been crucial to Utah's offense and will need to continue his high-scoring ways if the Jazz want to end Golden Streak's three-game win streak.

Key matchups

Rudy Gobert vs. Zaza Pachulia: Gobert is a giant of a human being and wreaks all kinds of havoc with his length and activity. And while Pachulia is a fine center, the Warriors big man might have his hands full trying to contain Gobert.

Gordon Hayward vs. Klay Thompson/Kevin Durant: The Warriors will likely use a small rotating cast of defenders on Hayward as Golden State will try and slow down Utah's leading scorer. Thompson and Durant though will probably get the lion's share of the minutes in the matchup against Hayward. Both players are capable of shutting him down, so this will be a real test for the Jazz star.

PICK: Warriors (-7.5). The Jazz are a talented bunch but they are a bit banged up with George Hill and Rodney Hood out with injuries. Plus with the way Golden State is playing, you have to give the edge to the Warriors, especially since they are coming off a game where they struggled to shoot the ball but still won thanks to their defensive effort. When a team is that skilled on both ends of the court, it is hard to pick against them.
