Thursday's NBA games featured a moment silence for TNT sideline reporter Craig Sager, who died Thursday at 65 years old after a long battle with leukemia. The Knicks-Warriors matchup at Oracle Arena was a little different, thanks to Warriors coach Steve Kerr.

Kerr delivered a short speech before the game where he offered his condolences to the Sager family and reminisced about his former TNT colleague. Kerr closed out his speech urging the fans to have a "moment of joy" for Sager instead of a moment of silence, as joy was the more appropriate emotion when thinking of the colorfully dressed reporter.

Kerr's sentiments mirrored the thoughs expressed throughout the NBA community.
