WATCH: Kyle Lowry scores career-high 43, hits winner vs. Cavs
Kyle Lowry had a career night and made the winning jumper against the Cavaliers on Friday.
Lowry poured in 18 of his career-high 43 points in the fourth quarter, none bigger than his winning jumper over Matthew Dellavedova with 3.8 seconds left on the clock. With the game tied at 97, Lowry isolated against Dellavedova, made a move like he was going to drive to the basket but then stepped back and drilled a jumper.
An airball by LeBron James on Cleveland's final possession sealed the victory for Toronto.
It was an impressive game by Lowry, with fellow All-Star DeMar DeRozan playing through flu-like symptoms but not making much of an impact. Lowry put the Raptors on his back and willed his team to victory. Lowry finished the game with 43 points (FG: 15-20; 3PT: 2-5; FT: 11-15), nine assists and five rebounds.
