WATCH: Warriors' Kevin Durant works on post moves with Steve Nash
Steve Nash works one-on-one with Durant at a recent Warriors practice
There were a number of reasons why Kevin Durant decided to sign with the Golden State Warriors. The chance to win a championship was perhaps Durant's biggest reason but his relationship with former Phoenix Suns great Steve Nash also contributed to his decision. And now that Durant is on the Warriors, his relationship with Nash has continued to blossom.
Nash is a part-time player development consultant with the Warriors and has been working one-on-one with Durant at Golden State's practices. At a recent practice, the two practiced post moves, with Nash showing Durant some tricks he picked up throughout his lengthy career.
Nash showing Durant post moves is amusing, since during his playing days, he was a point guard -- not a power forward. But Nash has a smart basketball mind and is knowledgeable in all aspects of the game. Durant also doesn't seem to care about Nash being a guard, soaking up whatever he can from the future Hall of Famer.
So if Durant showcases some new post moves this season, he will have Nash to thank. Which would be yet another reason how Durant's relationship with Nash is paying off for the Warriors.
