Wisconsin governor Scott Walker is taking a page out of President Donald Trump's playbook in hopes of gaining support for his state's team, the Milwaukee Bucks, in their first-round series with the Toronto Raptors.

Trump's campaign slogan to "Make America Great Again" worked well enough to get him into the oval office, so Walker is hoping the slogan, "Make the Bucks great again," will work similarly for their playoff hopes and potential rise into NBA greatness. Walker made a custom hat and jersey for President Trump ahead of Tuesday night's game against the Raptors.

The Bucks fell short in Game 2 against the Raptors 106-100, and now take a 1-1 series tie back to Milwaukee. But it's not fair yet to call Trump a bad luck charm. The tweet was sent out at 3:41 p.m. ET Tuesday, so unless Walker personally delivered the gear, it's pretty likely it won't make it to the White House until Wednesday at the earliest.

Maybe the Trump-themed Bucks gear will swing the series in favor of Milwaukee when Game 3 of the series tips Thursday night.
