Spurs' LaMarcus Aldridge: Limited to eight points in Game 2 loss
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Aldridge tallied eight points (4-11 FG, 0-1 3Pt), four rebounds, three assists, two blocks and one steal across 27 minutes during a 136-100 loss to the Warriors on Tuesday.

With the team in dire need of scoring with Kawhi Leonard (ankle) sidelined, Aldridge did not have a good game in the Game 2 beatdown. After two straight strong games, he came up with his second single-digit scoring outing of these playoffs. Expect a bounce back game from Aldridge as the team goes back home for Game 3 in desperate need of a win.

Spurs' LaMarcus Aldridge: Scores 28 points in Sunday's Game 1 loss
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Aldridge finished with 28 points (11-24 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 5-6 FT), eight rebounds, three assists, three steals, and one block in 40 minutes during Sunday's 113-111 loss to the Warriors in Game 1.

Aldridge struggled down the stretch and committed six turnovers, but he was the lone starter besides Kawhi Leonard (ankle) who scored in double figures. This was the fifth time in 13 playoff games that Aldridge saw at least 40 minutes, and it was also his third showing with 26 points or more in just the last five games. Regardless of whether Leonard is available for Tuesday's Game 2, Aldridge will be relied on heavily to produce as the Spurs try to keep pace with the Warriors' high-octane offense.

Spurs' LaMarcus Aldridge: Big double-double in series clinching win
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Aldridge scored 34 points (16-26 FG, 2-2 FT) and added 12 rebounds, one assist and one steal in 36 minutes during Thursday's 114-75 Game 6 win over the Rockets.

With Kawhi Leonard (ankle) out, Aldridge stepped up and delivered his best game of the postseason. Leonard is expected to return for Game 1 against the Warriors Sunday, and the Warriors were one of the best defenses in the league this season, so it is unlikely Aldridge will quite so impactful moving forward.

Spurs' LaMarcus Aldridge: Solid showing in Game 4 loss
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Aldridge supplied 16 points (7-13 FG, 2-2 FT), five rebounds, one assist and one block over 25 minutes in Sunday's 125-104 loss to the Rockets in Game 4 of the Western Conference semifinals.

Aldridge was efficient with his modest amount of minutes, generating a second straight performance of better than 50 percent shooting after going 8-for-22 from the field over the series' first two games. The veteran big man is now averaging 15.3 points, 6.5 rebounds, 1.0 assists and 1.8 blocks across 29.5 minutes in the semifinals and will look to help the Spurs take a 3-2 advantage in Tuesday's Game 5.

Spurs' LaMarcus Aldridge: Plays both sides of the floor Friday
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Aldridge tallied 26 points (12-20 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 2-3 FT), seven rebounds, four blocks and two assists across 38 minutes in Friday's 103-92 win over the Rockets in Game 3.

The story of the last two games in the series has been the Spurs' defense, as they have limited the sharpshooters on the Rockets to under 100 points in consecutive games. Aldridge contributed on the defensive end by racking up half of the team's blocks Friday night, while also matching Kawhi Leonard for a team-high in points. If the Spurs can continue to keep up the energy on both sides of the ball, they can continue to own the next few games and go up by more, with their next chance being Sunday.
