| Freeland dealing with finger issue: Trail Blazers forward Joel Freeland tore a ligament in his right index finger Tuesday against the Bucks, a re-aggravation of an injury from earlier in the season. “It feels just like when I first injured it,” Freeland told CSNNW.com. “It affects the way I shoot and I just took off the wrap I've been wearing a few days ago because it was feeling much better. I'm disappointed, but there's nothing I can do right now. It's something I'll have to play with for the remainder of the season.” Freeland has been playing a bit more recently, averaging 8.3 minutes per game over the last five games, and does not expect to miss time moving forward. | Freeland has been trying to work his way into a larger role in the rotation, as he is averaging just 8.5 minutes per game on the season. That will be unlikely with him dealing with an injury, so it would be a surprise to see him increase his value moving forward.
