  • Marco Belinelli: To play in Italy

Belinelli will play in Italy next season with Virtus Bologna, Jeff Garcia of Spurs Zone reports. Belinelli will be returning to his home country after not receiving any NBA offers that were to his liking. So, the 34-year-old will go back to the team that he played for professionally at 16 years old. If this is the end of Belinelli's NBA career, his 1,216 made three-pointers rank 70th all-time in NBA history, and he won an NBA title with the Spurs in 2014.

  • Spurs' Marco Belinelli: Doesn't end up playing

Belinelli (coach's decision) didn't see the floor during Wednesday's 132-126 loss to the Nuggets. Belinelli missed the last two games due to a sprained foot but was cleared to play in this one. Nevertheless, the 34-year-old shooting guard didn't end up seeing the court at all. Though the Spurs are still fighting for a playoff spot, coach Gregg Popovich has stated that the team is primarily focused on development. With Keldon Johnson playing at such a high level off the bench of late, it wouldn't be that surprising if Belinelli isn't part of the regular rotation for the remainder of the restart.

  • Spurs' Marco Belinelli: Good to go Wednesday

Belinelli (foot) will play Wednesday against the Nuggets, Tom Orsborn of the San Antonio Express-News reports. After missing the last two games with a sprained foot, Belinelli will be back in action Wednesday as the Spurs look to bounce back from their first loss in seeding play. In the opener against Sacramento, Belinelli played 15 minutes off the bench and finished with nine points (7-7 FT).

  • Spurs' Marco Belinelli: Expected back vs. Denver

Belinelli (foot) is listed as probable for Wednesday's game against Denver, Paul Garcia of Project Spurs reports. The Spurs won't get Bryn Forbes (quad) back, but they should have the services of Belinelli, who missed the last two seeding games with a sprained left foot. In the re-opener against the Kings on Friday, Belinelli had nine points in 15 minutes off the bench.

  • Spurs' Marco Belinelli: Out again Monday

Belinelli (foot) will not play Monday against the 76ers, Jeff Garcia of News 4 in San Antonio reports. A sprained left foot will keep Belinelli out for a second straight game as the Spurs play the second half of a back-to-back set. He played 15 minutes off the bench in the opener on Friday, finishing with nine points behind a 7-of-7 performance at the free-throw line.

  • Spurs' Marco Belinelli: Won't play Sunday

Bellinelli (foot) won't play Sunday against Memphis, Jeff Garcia of News 4 San Antonio reports. As anticipated, the veteran will be inactive to tend to a left foot sprain which he suffered in Friday's contest against the Kings. With Belinelli out, Lonnie Walker may see increased run off the bench Sunday. Belinelli will have a chance to return to the floor Monday versus the 76ers.

  • Spurs' Marco Belinelli: Doubtful for Sunday

Belinelli (foot) is doubtful for Sunday's matchup against the Grizzlies, Jeff Garcia of News 4 San Antonio reports. The veteran suffered a sprained left foot during Friday's re-opener. With Bryn Forbes (quad) out, the Spurs will likely be shorthanded again in the backcourt. That should lead to extra minutes for Dejounte Murray, Derrick White and Lonnie Walker. Keldon Johnson also saw 30 minutes in the opener.

  • Spurs' Marco Belinelli: Out with ankle injury

Belinelli will not return to Friday's matchup with the Kings due to a sprained ankle, Paul Garcia of ProjectSpurs.com reports. The severity of Belinelli's injury is unknown at this time, but it is severe enough to keep him sidelined for the remainder of Friday's contest. He had accumulated nine points, one rebound and one assist across 15 minutes before exiting. His status for Sunday's matchup with the Grizzlies is certainly up in the air at this point.

  • Spurs' Marco Belinelli: Sparkles off bench in return

Belinelli (illness) put up 16 points (6-8 FG, 4-6 3Pt), four rebounds and one assist in 21 minutes Tuesday in the Spurs' 119-109 win over the Mavericks. Belinelli was available off the bench after missing the previous three games with an illness and was able to seize a rotation role thanks to the absences of Dejounte Murray (calf) and Lonnie Walker (lower leg). The 33-year-old was able to deliver some quality three-point production to go along with little else, which has been a familiar refrain throughout his career. Unless the Spurs decide to the reduce the playing time of rookie first-round pick Keldon Johnson, Belinelli could drop out of the rotation once one of Walker or Murray is back in action.

  • Spurs' Marco Belinelli: Not on report

Belinelli is not on the injury report ahead of Tuesday's game against the Mavs. He missed three games with an illness, but the veteran should be back to availability off the bench Tuesday. With Dejounte Murray out, there's a chance he could see a slight bump in minutes, but Belinelli shouldn't be a fantasy consideration in most formats.

  • Spurs' Marco Belinelli: Out again Sunday

Belinelli (illness) will remain sidelined for Sunday's matchup with the Cavaliers, Jeff Garcia of News 4 San Antonio reports. Belinelli's absence will mark his third consecutive game missed due to illness. His next chance to suit up will come Tuesday against the Mavericks.

  • Spurs' Marco Belinelli: Still out Friday

Belinelli (illness) is out for Friday's game against the Nets, Evan Closky of KENS 5 Sports reports. An illness will keep Belinelli out for a second straight contest. His next chance to return arrives Sunday against the Cavaliers.

  • Spurs' Marco Belinelli: Out with illness

Belinelli will miss Tuesday's game against the Hornets due to illness, Evan Closky of KENS 5 in San Antonio reports. The veteran saw six minutes of action in Monday's loss to the Pacers, but he'll be held out Tuesday after coming down with an illness. Consider him day-to-day as Friday's game in Brooklyn approaches.

  • Spurs' Marco Belinelli: Makes three treys

Belinelli scored 13 points (5-10 FG, 3-7 3Pt) to go along with two rebounds and one assist in 15 minutes off the bench during Sunday's 131-103 loss at Oklahoma City. Belinelli was coming off three straight appearances without a single point -- as well as two DNP designations -- over San Antonio's last five games, but this performance should boost his confidence moving forward. The veteran wing can still be productive when given minutes, but those have been hard to find in the Spurs rotation of late. Belinelli is averaging just 13.8 minutes in six February games to date, posting 4.2 points per contest.

  • Spurs' Marco Belinelli: Scores 12 in 21 minutes

Belinelli contributed 12 points (2-6 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 6-6 FT), seven rebounds and two assists in 21 minutes during Sunday's 107-102 win over the Heat. Belinelli reached double figures in scoring and earned at least 20 minutes for the first time since Dec. 23 while hauling in a season high rebounding total. He's merely a dart throw in daily leagues, but Belinelli is clearly still capable of filling it up on occasion.

  • Spurs' Marco Belinelli: Logs 12 minutes versus Raptors

Belinelli managed five points (2-4 FG, 1-3 3Pt), four rebounds, three assists and one steal in 12 minutes during Sunday's 105-104 win over the Raptors. Belinelli saw the 10th-most minutes on the team, earning more playing time than only one teammate who saw the floor (Lonnie Walker), and only by one minute. Moreover, Belinelli has been held scoreless in three of his last seven appearances and hasn't reached double figures since Dec. 23.

  • Spurs' Marco Belinelli: Sharp from deep

Belinelli had 17 points (4-6 FG, 4-5 3PT, 5-5 FT), two rebounds and one steal in 25 minutes off the bench during Saturday's 134-109 defeat against the Clippers. Belinelli made four of his five attempts from long range, and that should give him a morale boost considering he has been mirred in a slump all season long when it comes to his shooting from deep -- his 35.1 percent from three-point territory would represent his second-worst career mark, and the worst one in the last four seasons. He will try to remain productive Monday at Memphis.

  • Spurs' Marco Belinelli: Shines against Sacramento

Belinelli had 11 points (4-5 FG, 3-4 3PT), two rebounds and one assist in 19 minutes off the bench during Friday's 105-104 overtime win over the Kings. The Italian shooting guard has scored 10 or more points just twice this season so his fantasy value isn't very high at the moment, and he provides limited value since he's making only 33.3 percent from his three-point attempts. He should remain in a reserve role moving forward even if he was pivotal during Friday's win.

  • Spurs' Marco Belinelli: Sits out against Houston

Belinelli did not play in San Antonio's 135-133 win over Houston on Tuesday. The 33-year-old had just missed one of the Spurs' 21 previous games, making his absence from this particular contest quite a surprise. In fairness, the sharpshooter's play and fantasy value have taken a nosedive, with his 5.2 points per game and 29.4 shooting percentage working out to some of the worst statistics of his career. Belinelli's current status remains in the air, but San Antonio's upcoming home game against Sacramento could perhaps provide an answer to that uncertainty.

  • Spurs' Marco Belinelli: Season-high scoring in loss

Belinelli posted 10 points (4-9 FG, 2-5 3Pt), two assists and one rebound in Wednesday's 138-132 loss to the Wizards. While the 10 points was encouraging, the veteran guard is averaging his lowest amount of playing time (16.7 minutes) since his rookie campaign. Ineffectiveness from the field might be the culprit behind the lack of playing time, as the 33-year-old is converting on just 27.1 percent of field goals and 28.3 percent of three-point shots, both of which are career lows.
