Durant to add strength: The Oklahoman reports Thunder forward Kevin Durant will start a strength, conditioning and dietary program this offseason designed to add muscle to his thin 6-foot-9 inch frame. "It's just lifting at least four or five times a week, eating right, eating three or four meals a day," Durant said. "And just making sure that I put it in my hands to wake up early in the morning, eat, go work out, lift weights and keep doing that cycle over and over again, and eventually, I'll add muscle."

Durant took a giant step in his second season. Durant averaged 25.3 points and 6.5 rebounds and improved to become a No. 1 Fantasy option. He should continue to develop heading into his third year, and he will enter 2009-10 as a first-round pick in all formats, especially if he adds more weight.

F Kevin Durant is one of three Thunder players taking part in Team USA's mini-camp this summer. Durant, however, is the most likely of the trio to earn a spot on the 2012 Olympic team. He's been part of the 33-man USA Basketball Men's Senior National Team program for the last two years and was also a member of the USA Basketball Select Team in 2008. Considered one of the brightest young talents in the NBA, many consider Durant a future All-Star and possible MVP candidate in the years to come. 62/6/2009

Durant is hosting a basketball camp for children in Oklahoma City. The Oklahoma City Thunder star opened the three-day camp Monday at Heritage Hall High School. About 350 boys and girls between the ages of 7 and 14 are participating in the camp, which was formerly hosted by All-Star point guard Chris Paul of the New Orleans Hornets.
