McRoberts signed by Indiana Pacers: The Indiana Pacers have resigned free agent forward Josh McRoberts. Terms of the multiyear contract were not disclosed Wednesday. The Pacers made a qualifying offer to the 6-foot-10 McRoberts last month, making him a restricted free agent.

The second year of McRoberts' contract is partially guaranteed. He averaged 2.4 points and 2.2 rebounds in 33 games last season. "I've wanted to prove myself since I was drafted (in 2007)," McRoberts said. "That's been my main thing. To prove myself and prove people wrong. I want to be able to do that this year." 72/3/2009
