| Oden reportedly undergoes procedure in Germany: Free agent center Greg Oden continues to recover from microfracture surgery on his left knee, and, according to ESPN.com, recently underwent the same knee procedure Lakers guard Kobe Bryant had in Germany last summer to relieve pain and swelling in the knee. Oden, who has played in just 82 games since being the first pick in the 2007 NBA Draft due to a multitude of knee injuries, remains optimistic that he can make a return to the league as he continues to rehab the knee. | According to the report, Oden remains in contact with as many as seven NBA teams, who could be interested in his service if he is able to return next season, however there is no timetable for his recovery at this time. He seems intent on getting back into playing shape, however at this point, he would need to show a lot for Fantasy owners to be willing to take a flyer on him on Draft Day. (Updated 05/20/2012). |
