  • Peace makes world of impact in return: Lakers forward Metta World Peace was back from his seven game suspension for Game 7 of the Western Conference Semifinals on Saturday against the Nuggets, and he made a big difference in the Lakers holding on to a 96-87 win to move on to the second round. World Peace shot 5 of 15 from the field, with four three pointers, to get 15 points, and he added five rebounds, two assists, four steals and two blocked shots in 44 minutes.

    Fantasy Analysis
World Peace and the Lakers go on to face the Thunder, the team he earned the suspension against back during the second to last game of the regular season. He was playing his best ball of the season before the suspension, and he continued that despite the lengthy layoff. World Peace was averaging 14.1 points per game in April before the suspension, and while most of that came without Kobe Bryant, he should be able to continue to play well, so consider him a usable option in postseason Fantasy formats.

May 19, 2012: Kobe scores 36, Lakers make free throws in hectic finish to cut deficit
Kobe Bryant didn't miss on 18 free throws and scored 14 of his 36 points in the fourth quarter, and the Los Angeles Lakers rallied late for a 99-96 victory over Oklahoma City in Game 3 on Friday night, cutting the Thunder's second-round series lead to 2-1.
May 18, 2012: Video: Metta World Peace and Russell Westbrook scrap in Game 3
Late in the second quarter Russell Westbrook dove on the floor for a loose ball as Metta World Peace tried to tie him up. Westbrook, an admittedly emotional player, took exception to it, flailed his arms around and a scuffle ensued.
May 17, 2012: Once kids without experience, the Thunder are showing championship toughness
There's a moment when you watch a great team play where it hits you. These guys have it. There's something to this young Thunder team. Something intangible, something incredible. They don't quit, don't stop, don't go quietly.
May 17, 2012: Thunder rally late, stun Lakers for 2-0 lead in West semis
Kevin Durant scored 22 points and rattled in the go-ahead basket on a baseline runner with 18 seconds left, and the Oklahoma City Thunder scored the final nine points to rally for a 77-75 victory over the Los Angeles Lakers in Game 2 of the Western Conference semifinals Wednesday night.
