George Hill gets first career triple-double in Pacers' win
by Shawn Krest | CBSSports.com

George Hill recorded the first triple-double of his career, Friday, leading the Pacers past the Cavaliers, 93-86.

Hill had 15 points, despite shooting just 4-for-15. He added a career-high 12 assists, as well as season-high 10 rebounds.

''Toward the last timeout, my teammates told me `one more rebound' and it was like `for what?' He said a triple-double,'' Hill said. ''They said they were going to box out, and let me go get the rebound so I said `Thank y'all.'''

Hill had eight rebounds and seven assists in the second half

''The best part is it's an answer to some of the critics he had at the end of last season,'' Pacers coach Frank Vogel said. ''He can play off the basketball and now, this year, you're seeing what he can do with the ball in his hands.''

The Pacers host the Sixers in their next game, on Sunday.

Report: Nuggets trying to trade Lawson, want Pacers' George Hill
by R.J. White | CBSSports.com

The Nuggets are looking to move point guard Ty Lawson, and if successful, head coach Brian Shaw wants to bring in Pacers guard George Hill as his replacement, ESPN reports.

A report Tuesday said that the team wasn't actively shopping Lawson, but it appears they are pushing to make the right deal before Thursday's deadline. The Lakers and Bucks are two teams who have been reported to have interest in the point guard, who missed practice Wednesday for an unspecified reason.

Shaw has a familiarity with Hill, having been an assistant coach with the Pacers from 2011 to 2013 before becoming the head coach of the Nuggets. Hill has averaged 14.1 points, 3.8 assists and 3.3 rebounds in 15 games this season.

The 20 points matched a season high, and Hill's seven assists were a season best for him.

Pacers PG George Hill scores team-high 20 vs. Pistons
by R.J. White | CBSSports.com

Pacers point guard George Hill scored a team-high 20 points on 8 of 12 shooting in his team's 114-109 win over the Pistons Wednesday.

The Pacers delivered an excellent shooting performance Wednesday, shooting 59.7 percent from the field and 57.1 percent from three-point range, and pulled off the win with a 66-point second half.

"Certainly George leading the way is a big difference for us," Pacers coach Frank Vogel said after the game, per the Associated Press. "He creates things for others and get us organized. He is great playing with the basketball and without the basketball.

Hill was responsible for one three-pointer (on two attempts) while adding six assists, three rebounds and one block in 26 minutes. He was playing his sixth game since returning from a groin injury as he continues to have his minutes limited.

"My conditioning is at an all-time low," he said after the game. "But I felt fine physically. It is still going to take a couple game to get my legs back under me."

The Pacers will square off with the Cavaliers Friday.

George Hill to start for Pacers Wednesday
by Shawn Krest | CBSSports.com

Pacers coach Frank Vogel said that guard George Hill will return to the Pacers' starting lineup at home against the Pistons on Wednesday.

Hill has battled several injuries this season, most recently a right groin strian. He missed the first 28 games of the season before returning for five games in late December. He has missed the first 11 games of 2015 and has come off the bench in limited minutes in the last five games.

Hill's longest outing of his most-recent comeback was 22 minutes, in his last game, Saturday night. Even though he's expected to start, Hill's minutes will still be limited, according to Vogel.
