Cavaliers' Kevin Love: Shoots poorly in Game 5 loss
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Love supplied six points (2-8 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 2-5 FT), 10 rebounds, two assists and one block over 30 minutes during Monday's 129-120 loss to the Warriors in Game 5 of the NBA Finals.

Love came up short in the Cavs' bid to stave off elimination, posting his second poor shooting effort in the last three games. The 28-year-old forward went a combined 3-for-17 in Games 3 and 5, averaging just 7.5 points in those contests. That type of production naturally didn't cut it against a high-powered Warriors squad, and Love's solid efforts on the boards throughout the series weren't enough to offset his occasional offensive struggles. Despite the unfavorable conclusion to the season, Love enjoyed a strong campaign in which he averaged 19.0 points, 11.1 rebounds and 1.9 assists across 31.4 minutes over 60 games. He figures to be a key part of the Cavs' efforts to challenge for a championship in the 2017-18 season.

Cavaliers' Kevin Love: Nails six three-pointers Friday
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Love contributed 23 points (7-14 FG, 6-8 3Pt, 3-3 FT), five rebounds, two steals, one assist and one block across 29 minutes in a 137-116 Game 4 win over the Warriors.

Love's five rebounds were his fewest in a game since the Eastern Conference quarterfinals, but he more than made up for it by putting on a clinic from the outside as the Cavaliers hit an NBA FInals-record 24 three-pointers. The big man had converted just 30 percent of his outside looks during the series prior to Game 4 ,so his continued success from distance may be critical if the Cavaliers are to avoid elimination while the series shifts back to Oakland.

Cavaliers' Kevin Love: Provides double-double in Game 2 loss
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Love scored 27 points (12-23 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 1-1 FT) to go along with seven rebounds and two steals across 30 minutes during Sunday's 132-113 loss to the Warriors.

Love was much more assertive on the offensive end after scoring just 15 points in Game 1, but he did it at the expense of his rebound totals, which fell all the way from 21 to just a third of that in Game 2. He also saw just 30 minutes of action compared to 40 and 39 for Kyrie Irving and LeBron James, respectively, as the team resorted to different lineups to try and contain their high-flying opponent. Though Love's production has fluctuated on a game-by-game basis, he is averaging a useful 21 points, 14 rebounds and 1.5 blocks per game in the NBA Finals and will look to keep it up as the series shifts back to Cleveland.

Cavaliers' Kevin Love: Dominates on the glass in Game 1 loss
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Love posted 15 points (4-13 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 4-4 FT), 21 rebounds, one assist and three blocks over 34 minutes during Thursday's 113-91 loss to the Warriors in Game 1 of the NBA finals.

Love dominated the boards but struggled from the field, as he was only able to go 1-for-7 from in front of the arc. His 21 rebounds were a playoff best, however, and extended his postseason streak of double-doubles to six games. The 28-year-old's contributions down low are certainly important to Cleveland's cause, but he'll need to step it up on offense for the Cavs to keep pace with the Warriors in Game 2 on Sunday night.

Cavaliers' Kevin Love: Double-doubles in Game 5 win
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Love posted 15 points (5-13 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 11 rebounds, three assists, four steals and one block over 28 minutes during Thursday's 135-102 win over the Celtics in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference finals.

Love turned in his fifth double-double in as many games during the series to help close out the Celtics and send the Cavaliers back to the Finals for a third consecutive season. The 28-year-old finished the conference finals with averages of 22.6 points, 12.4 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 1.4 steals and 1.2 blocks across 33.4 minutes. Looking ahead, he'll look to put together a much better effort than his lackluster performance in last season's Finals, when he finished with averages of just 7.3 points, 5.9 rebounds and 1.1 assists over 22.6 minutes.
