Oilers' Jordan Eberle: Nets 25 goals in 69 games
by RotoWire Staff | Special to

Eberle finished the 2015-16 season with 25 goals and 22 assists in 69 games.

Eberle had a solid season but far from a great one. His name is likely to be mentioned in trade rumors throughout most of the summer as he could bring back the type defenseman the Oilers are craving. No matter who Eberle ends up with next season he should remain a top six forward and be expected to score 25 goals.

Oilers' Jordan Eberle: Dishes out two helpers Wednesday
by RotoWire Staff | Special to

Eberle dished out a pair of assists in Wednesday's 6-2 shellacking of the Canucks while also firing off seven shots.

It had been over a month since Eberle last recorded a helper, although he had been keeping owners happy with five goals in his previous nine efforts. Eberle still has just 47 points with one game to play, easily marking a three-year low for the 25-year-old. While injuries played a part in that decline, he likely would've experienced a far smaller dropoff if he brought this level of aggressiveness every night.

Oilers' Jordan Eberle: Hits 25 goals in loss to Kings
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Jordan Eberle scored his 25th goal of the season and added an assist in Saturday's loss to the Kings.

Skating on the second line with Connor McDavid, Eberle is finishing the season with a bang. The 25-year-old has scored five goals in his last seven games and is up to 46 points in 65 games on the season. Despite missing time with injury, Eberle has already scored more goals this season than he did in 81 games last year. Keep him rolling.

Oilers' Jordan Eberle: Nets goal in lopsided loss
by RotoWire Staff | Special to

Eberle tallied a power-play goal on two shots and a hit in Tuesday's 4-2 loss to the Coyotes.

Despite the fact that his team has been faltering this season, Eberle is on a bit of a roll lately. He's picked up three goals in his last five games, which is a vast improvement on the eight-game scoring drought he endured prior to this stretch. Still, not much can be expected of the 25-year-old with his team doing as poorly as it is.

Oilers' Jordan Eberle: Nets game winner against Canucks on Friday
by RotoWire Staff | Special to

Eberle skated on a line with Connor McDavid and scored the game-winning goal Friday against Vancouver.

The Oilers were backed by a 40-save shutout performance from goaltender Cam Talbot and Eberle was able to strike midway through the second period with a snapshot from the left circle. The 25-year-old has scored twice in his last three games and is now up to 22 goals and 42 points in 61 games on the season. Eberle is a great goal-scorer, but the Oilers are well out of the playoff race and he recently went through a five-game scoring drought, so expectations may need to be curtailed.
