| Young makes brief first impression: Sixers forward Sam Young didn’t have much time to get settled in his new surroundings before being to contribute, as the Sixers turned to him on Friday, one day after he was acquired from Memphis. The Sixers didn’t ask for much from him on Friday against the Heat, as Young played just two minutes in the game. He scored just one point on a free throw while missing his only field-goal attempt. He also grabbed one rebound, as the Sixers lost, 84-78. (Updated 03/16/2012) |

| Young was acquired on Thursday by the Sixers in a straight salary dump from the Grizzlies. Young has appeared in just 21 games, averaging 11.4 minutes and 3.5 points per game. It is unlikely that he will see much more time than that with the Sixers, as they likely only went to him on Friday because they were missing Spencer Hawes. He will likely remain just a reserve, making him unworthy of a roster spot in most Fantasy formats. (Updated 03/16/2012). |
