Habs' Gallahger Losing Minutes
by null None | null
Gallagher, who was reshuffled to the third line, played 13:26 in Tuesday night's win over Colorado. The ice time is nearly three minutes less than his season average.Through no fault of his own, Gallagher finds himself off the top line and is now skating with Lars Eller and Alex Galchenyuk. With the move off the top line comes a drop in his playing time. He still plays the same way -- aggressive, willing and in front of the net -- but now he's not lining up with as gifted scorers or playmakers.

Habs Move Gallagher To Second Line
by null None | null
Gallagher lined up on the second line with Tomas Plekanec and Daniel Briere for Sunday night's win over Buffalo. He scored his 17th goal of the season and had four shots on goal in the win.Gallagher can play with any linemates, so it's not surprising to see him provide a lift for the Plekanec line. Coach Michel Therrien continues to tinker, hoping to find some semblance of balanced scoring on a team that doesn't generate enough offense. The latest tweak moves captain Brian Gionta to the third line.
