Stevenson returns to action Friday: Washington SG DeShawn Stevenson has successfully returned after surgery last season to repair a herniated disk in his back. Stevenson was able to play in the Wizards' preseason loss to Dallas on Friday night. He scored five points on 1 of 2 shooting with four assists and a three-pointer.

Fantasy Analysis

Last season was a painful one for Stevenson, bothered by back pain for much of the year. Through that, he averaged 6.6 points and 3.1 assists in 32 games, while shooting only 31.2 percent on field goals. Stevenson will play less of a role this season with Gilbert Arenas back and that makes him just a Fantasy stopgap option in case Arenas re-injures himself.
