Boyes netted a rebound for his first goal of the season against the Capitals on Saturday.Although Boyes started the game on the Panthers fourth line, he scored the only goal for the team on the power play and ended the night with 20:10 minutes of ice time leading all forwards. Boyes also had two shots on goal, two hits, and one blocked shot. This was Boyes best outing of the season and with the Panthers not generating much offence, expect them to put Boyes back in positions to succeed on the scoresheet.

Boyes was moved from the top line down to the fourth line in practice on Wednesday, George Richards of the Miami Herald reports.Boyes has gone pointless in the first three games of the season. He had three shots on goal with two penalty minutes in 16:16 minutes of ice time last game against Ottawa. Being moved to the fourth line could mean limited success for his upcoming game against the Sabres on Friday.
