Sens' Legwand Helps Out, Goes Plus-3 In Win
by null None | null
Legwand captured an assist and went plus-3 in Thursday's win over the Canadiens.Legwand has settled into a bottom-six role with the Senators this season, where his talent level is better suited at this stage in his career. He's only managed 24 points on the season and has only a goal and two assists since the start of February, but he remains one of the Sens' top faceoff specialists. Unfortunately, that won't translate to much fantasy value.

Sens' Legwand Gathers Two Assists
by null None | null
Legwand collected a pair of assist in Saturday's 7-2 win over the Coyotes.Legwand now has seven points (one goal, six assists) in his last seven games, which qualifies as his best stretch of production all season. During that run, he was a healthy scratch for two games, so there's no guarantee he'll maintain a lineup spot despite his ample production. The inconsistency of Legwand's ice time doesn't make him particularly enticing as a fantasy option.
