Rockets' Clint Capela: Near double-double in Game 4
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Capela produced eight points (3-6 FG, 2-3 FT), nine rebounds, one assist, two blocks and one steal over 25 minutes during Sunday's 125-104 win over the Spurs in Game 4 of the Western Conference semifinals.

Capela took a step back in his overall usage Sunday, putting up a series-low amount of shot attempts. However, he kept up his strong work on the glass, and he's now posted between nine and 15 rebounds in three of the series' first four games. Capela has also been effective as a rim protector, recording multiple blocks in each of the four games against the Spurs. He'll look to hit double digits in the scoring column for the fourth time in the last five contests when the Rockets travel to San Antonio for Tuesday's Game 5.

Rockets' Clint Capela: Extremely accurate from floor in Wednesday's win
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Capela ended up with 22 points (11-12 FG, 0-3 FT), 10 rebounds, three blocked shots, two assists and a steal over 30 minutes in Wednesday's 123-118 win against the Timberwolves.

Capela was rested and raring to go after sitting out Monday's game against the Clippers. The center has ranked near the top of the league in field-goal percentage, and he'll be a solid fantasy option for those playing postseason leagues and DFS.

Rockets' Clint Capela: Expected to play Wednesday
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Capela isn't listed on the Rockets' injury report heading into Wednesday's game against the Timberwolves, Jonathan Feigen of the Houston Chronicle reports.

While coach Mike D'Antoni could very well change course and rest players in the regular-season finale, as things stand now, it looks like only Sam Dekker (hand) is in line to sit out Wednesday. Capela, who has sat out two of the last three games for rest purposes, figures to start at center Wednesday, but with little on the line for the Rockets, don't expect him to see a full minutes load. Nene Hilario and Montrezl Harrell should both factor into the mix at center.

Rockets' Clint Capela: Out Monday for rest
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Capela will sit out Monday against the Clippers for rest purposes, Jonathan Feigen of the Houston Chronicle reports.

For the second time in three games, Capela will be on the sideline, as the Rockets look to preserve some of their key regulars for the postseason. The Rockets will have their regular-season finale Wednesday against the Timberwolves, and while Capela figures to be available for that contests, it's unlikely he'll be asked to play his usual 24-plus minutes. For Monday's contest, look for Montrezl Harrell and Chinanu Onuaku to share the workload at center.

Rockets' Clint Capela: Puts up 18 points Sunday
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Capela scored 18 points (8-8 FG, 2-2 FT) to go with six rebounds and one block across 24 minutes in a 135-128 win over the Kings.

After resting in the Rockets' previous game Friday against the Pistons, Capela rejoined the starting five while Nene Hilario (rest) received the night off. He turned in an effective showing on the offensive end in his return to action, with the 8-of-8 mark from the field boosting his field-goal percentage up to 63.7 percent on the season. Hilario is slated to sit out the second half of the back-to-back set Monday against the Clippers, but Capela isn't expected to see an appreciable jump in playing time. Instead, Hilario's playing time figures to fall mostly to reserve big men Montrezl Harrell and Chinanu Onuaku, as coach Mike D'Antoni deploys three centers.
