| Chandler’s strong play continues: With the Knicks missing Amar’e Stoudemire, C Tyson Chandler stepped up on Wednesday, scoring a season-high 25 points on 7 of 12 shooting against the Wizards. Chandler developed a rapport with new starting point guard Jeremy Lin early, who found him at the rim for easy buckets and fouls, the latter of which contributed 11 of his 25 points. He also grabbed 11 rebounds and had a block and a steal as the Knicks defeated Washington 107-93. (Updated 02/08/2012) |

| Chandler and Lin took advantage of a lost Wizards’ defense, abusing them with simple pick and roll sets. This was Chandler’s eighth double-double of the season, and he is on the verge of averaging a double-double for the season, with 11.4 points and 9.9 rebounds per game. He is also shooting an absurd 69.7 shooting from the field, as he has been everything the Knicks had hoped when they signed him as a free agent this offseason.
