Wallace struggling with percentage: From The Sports Xchange: How is Gerald Wallace shooting just 31 percent from the field? It all but defies basketball logic that one of the game's best drivers is making so few of his field-goal attempts this season for the Bobcats. Some factors: Wallace almost never makes jump shots, and he had a league-high 13 shots blocked in his first five games. That's gotten inside his head and he admitted Friday he's lost confidence offensively. That can only get worse Tuesday versus the Orlando Magic, when Wallace will be driving on a magnificent shot-blocker in Dwight Howard. But there is a bright side to this: Wallace decided if he isn't shooting, then he'll focus on rebounding. His 14.8 boards per game are fixing what was a constant flaw for the Bobcats the past five seasons.
