Blues Rule Bouwmeester Out For Next Two Games

Bouwmeester (lower body) has been ruled out for the Blues' games Friday and Saturday, NHL.com's Lou Korac reports.It was believed that Bouwmeester hadn't been on the ice since suffering the lower-body injury last weekend, but he's actually skated on his own the past two days. Even so, he's not yet ready to face the rigors of a full game. He'll look to resume practicing Monday with the hope of receiving clearance to play next Wednesday against the Blackhawks.

Bouwmeester (lower body) is expected to miss his third straight game Saturday versus the Oilers, Jeremy Rutherford of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.Bouwmeester wasn't present at the Blues' morning skate and hasn't resumed on-ice work since suffering a lower-body injury last weekend. Chris Butler is once again in line to replace him on defense. Bouwmeester would seem unlikely to play in Minnesota on Saturday, either.
