Blackhawks' Tomas Fleischmann: Has first multi-point game with new team
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Tomas Fleischmann scored his 12th goal of the season and had an assist in Friday's loss to Dallas.

While the Chicago Blackhawks lost for the third straight game, Fleischmann was able to put up his first multi-point outing in a Chicago uniform. The 31-year-old is currently skating on the third line and has put up three points (two goals) in six games since arriving in the Windy City. If he continues to see decent minutes, the former 27-goal-scorer could be worth looking at in deeper formats.

Blackhawks' Tomas Fleischmann: Dealt to Chicago
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Tomas Fleischmann was traded to the Chicago Blackhawks along with Dale Weise on Friday. In return, the Canadiens have received Phillip Danault and a second-round draft pick in 2018.

Fleischmann is a rental player based on how he'll be an unrestricted free agent this summer. The 31-year-old comes with a cap hit of just $750,000, making him a bargain for the Blackhawks as general manager Stan Bowman is doing all he can to ensure that Lord Stanley stays with the team. Chicago's forward group is absolutely stacked, with Andrew Ladd reuniting with the Blackhawks, a precursor to further upgrades by the likes of Fleischmann and Weise. Fleischmann was only a modest offensive contributor, pitching in 10 goals and 10 assists in 57 games with the Habs, but the journeyman is about to have the best supporting cast of his career. As a result, he's a nice speculative pickup in fantasy pools.

Canadiens' Tomas Fleischmann: Scores in Wednesday's win
by RotoWire Staff | Special to

Fleischmann scored a goal in Wednesday night's 4-3 win over Washington.

The goal was just Fleischmann's second in the past 27 games, but comes at the right time as the Canadiens look to move the 11-year veteran at the Feb. 29 trade deadline. He's recently been a healthy scratch, but the Habs will give him playing time in an effort to boost his trade value. Long-term, the Habs want to give minutes to players like Sven Andrighetto and Jacob De La Rose.

Canadiens' Tomas Fleischmann: Scratched Wednesday
by RotoWire Staff | Special to

Fleischmann was a healthy scratch in Wednesday night's 3-2 loss to Colorado.

With just four points in the last 32 games, Fleischmann may find himself in the press box more often while the Habs give some minutes to guys like Lucas Lessio and Jacob De La Rose. It was Lessio who essentially replaced Fleischmann on Wednesday and provided some speed in 11:21 of ice time on the fourth line.

Canadiens' Tomas Fleischmann: Back in lineup
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Tomas Fleischmann , who had been a healthy scratch the last two games, returned to the lineup for Thursday night's 2-1 loss to Chicago. He had three shots on goal and finished plus-1 in 14:22 TOI.

To make room for Fleischmann, Devante Smith-Pelly was a healthy scratch for the evening. Fleischmann is in a drought right now, having just two points in the previous 20 games.
