| Howard's season comes to and end: The Timberwolves announced Thursday that they have released veteran forward Josh Howard, after he was diagnosed with a torn ACL that will end his season. The injury will require surgery, and will likely keep him out until next season. (Updated 12/20/12) |

| Howard had been dealing with the injury for a few days, but this is the first that we have heard of it being a serious issue. Howard was playing just a bit role for the Timberwolves this season, so he did not have much Fantasy value. He was averaging 6.7 points and 3.3 rebounds per game in 11 games. He should not be owned in any Fantasy formats at this time. (Updated 12/20/12). |
