| Kaman explodes in return Monday: New Orleans C Chris Kaman was slotted in the starting lineup for Monday's game against Utah after overcoming a left ankle injury. Kaman suffered the injury while warming up prior to Friday's game against Portland and was forced to sit out the contest. With the Hornets short-handed due to injury, Kaman went off for a monster performance in a win over the Jazz. The veteran big man went 12 of 22 from the field to score a game-high 27 points. He grabbed 13 rebounds and added a block and two steals for the Hornets. (Updated 02/13/2012) |

| Kaman has been a solid contributor for the Hornets since the team removed him from the trading block and entered Monday averaging 13.5 points and 10.5 rebounds over his previous two games. Kaman exploded on Monday and that could continue with most of the Hornet big men nursing injuries. Kaman will continue to receive quality playing time and should be considered a viable option in most Fantasy formats for Week 8 (Feb. 13-19). (Updated 02/13/2012). |
