Cavaliers' Kyle Korver: Acclimating nicely in new home
by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com

Korver posted 11 points (4-10 FG, 3-8 3Pt) to go along with two rebounds in 27 minutes Monday against the Warriors in his 1,000th career game.

Korver is doing what he does best, coming off the bench and hitting triples. After a couple of uneven shooting performances to start his tenure in Cleveland, Korver is hitting his stride with 14.5 points, 3.5 rebounds and 3.5 3-pointers per game over his past two outings. He remains more valuable in rotisserie formats than in standard leagues for his work beyond the arc.

Cavaliers' Kyle Korver: Submits 18 points off bench Friday
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Korver tallied 18 points (7-10 FG, 4-6 3Pt), five rebounds, two assists and two steals across 25 minutes in a 120-108 win Friday over the Kings.

Korver looked a little rusty over his first two games with the Cavaliers with just four total points, but in Friday's contest, he delivered the sort of performance the team envisioned when they formally acquired him from the Hawks earlier in the week. In an effort to find more time for Korver alongside LeBron James, coach Tyronn Lue dropped DeAndre Liggins to the bench in favor of Iman Shumpert, paving the way for Korver to serve as the team's sixth man. It didn't take him long to establish chemistry with James, as Korver's four three-pointers were essential in propelling James to a season-high 15 assists. Korver's addition will provide a new wrinkle to the Cavs' rematch with the Warriors on Monday, in what could be a preview for yet another NBA Finals clash.

Cavaliers' Kyle Korver: Goes for two points in debut with team
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Korver registered two points (1-5 FG, 0-2 3Pt) and three rebounds across 18 minutes during a 100-92 loss to the Jazz on Tuesday.

Korver made his debut with the team and was one of three bench players to get at least 18 minutes. He saw just one minute less than starting shooting guard DeAndre Liggins but didn't get much going on offense. Korver's addition to the team could decrease the roles of the likes of Liggins, Richard Jefferson and Iman Shumpert. Korver will get a chance at a better outing with his new team Wednesday against the lackluster Portland defense.

Cavaliers' Kyle Korver: Should be available Tuesday vs. Jazz
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Korver will be eligible to make his Cavaliers debut Tuesday against the Jazz, Chris Vivlamore of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

The Cavaliers' acquisition of Korver was formally completed earlier Tuesday, as Mike Dunleavy, who was shipped to the Hawks in the trade, reported to his new team and passed his physical. Coach Tyronn Lue has already stated that DeAndre Liggins will continue serving as the Cavaliers' starting shooting guard, but Korver figures to serve as the team's top option at the position, despite coming off the bench. Korver's reputation as a sharpshooter should make him a dangerous fit alongside LeBron James and Kyrie Irving, though he may not benefit from as much volume or playing time as he saw with the Hawks. If Lue elects to use Korver on Tuesday, don't be surprise if he sees only light minutes, as he hasn't practiced with the Cavaliers and didn't even take part in the team's morning shootaround.

Cavaliers' Kyle Korver: Hopes to play Tuesday vs. Jazz
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

The Cavaliers expect to have Korver in uniform for Tuesday's game against the Jazz, Joe Vardon of Cleveland.com reports.

The agreed-upon trade that sent Korver to the Cavaliers over the weekend is finally nearing its completion, as Mike Dunleavy has dropped his request for a buyout and will report to the Hawks. Dunleavy is scheduled to take his physical early Tuesday, and assuming he passes, the trade will be made official. The Cavs don't expect to have Korver back in time for shootaround, but he should dress for Tuesday's game. However, since he has yet to practice for his new team, it's unclear if coach Tyronn Lue would insert him into the rotation right off the bat. Once he gets comfortable with the Cavaliers' offensive sets, Korver figures to serve as the top backup to starting shooting guard DeAndre Liggins, though he should see the bulk of the minutes at the position for as long as J.R. Smith (thumb) is sidelined.
