  • Carroll becomes a free agent: After acquiring him in a trade with Charlotte last week, the Hornets finalized their buyout with guard Matt Carroll on Tuesday and making him a free agent. Carroll was sent to New Orleans in exchange for forward Hakim Warrick last Tuesday. He did not play a game for the Hornets.
