  • Smith plays through knee injury: As expected, Hawks forward Josh Smith was back on the floor on Sunday for Game 4 against Boston, after missing the team’s previous game with a sprained left knee. Smith played 32 minutes in the game, scoring 15 points, grabbing 13 rebounds and dishing out five assists, all team highs in a 101-79 loss. Smith was not struggling with his attempts in the paint, as he made 4 of 5 there, however his jumper was not falling at all, as he was just 1 of 8 outside of the paint.

    Fantasy Analysis
If the knee was limiting Smith’s athleticism, it likely would have shown itself in his scoring inside, so at the very least, it seems as if he is feeling fine right now. The question will be whether he suffers any sort of set back on the off day before Game 5. However Smith was so adamant about playing in Game 4 no matter what, it would be a surprise to see him sit out Game 5 with the Hawks’ season on the line. It seems safe to keep him active in all Fantasy postseason formats moving forward.
